Selected experience · Anonymised

Track record built under real project accountability.

The examples below are drawn from Leo Liu’s professional experience. Employer, client, counterparty and project identities are intentionally omitted for confidentiality.

01

Full mine-lifecycle execution

Senior accountability across greenfield exploration, environmental and access approvals, project development, operations, logistics, compliance, closure and rehabilitation within a lean mining organisation.

Coordinated the commercial and contractual framework of a producing operation—from land and Native Title interfaces through road, rail and port logistics.

02

JV governance & development approvals

Commercial management and governance for a multi-party Australian mineral-sands development, linking partner relations, regulatory submissions, land access, community engagement and board reporting.

Strengthened decision frameworks and partner alignment while advancing a key tenure and development transition.

03

Complex access & stakeholder environments

Sustained coordination with Commonwealth and state agencies, environmental regulators, landholders, Native Title holders, communities, contractors and logistics operators in highly restricted operating settings.

Maintained access, regulatory continuity and trusted stakeholder relationships across changing project phases.

04

Cross-border commercial execution

Primary English–Chinese commercial interface across ownership, management, Australian counterparties and advisers, including due diligence, governance, contract negotiation and partner communication.

Converted cross-cultural intent into executable commercial arrangements, including long-term bulk commodity off-take and integrated logistics interfaces.

Project work has been associated with industry recognition for resource-sector renewal, a state award shortlist and bulk-handling performance. These references recognise project teams and assets, not Norwood Global client work.

Ground to market

A practical view across the value chain.

Leo’s experience spans the commercial and stakeholder interfaces connecting mine development, operating logistics and market delivery. Norwood Global coordinates those interfaces without replacing specialist technical advisers.

His career has repeatedly placed him at the interface between Chinese-speaking ownership and Australia’s commercial, regulatory and community landscape. He has worked in lean teams where outcomes across disciplines had to be personally coordinated and carried through—not simply advised from the sidelines.
